What to Wear

Polo AlMarsa is a vibrant style occasion inspired by global polo traditions and local elegance:

For ladies: flowing dresses, light tailoring, and accessories, including hats or fascinators, are encouraged, always mindful of the event’s open-air, marina-side setting.

For gentlemen: tailored trousers, crisp shirts, and blazers or sports jackets. Smart shoes or dressy loafers are preferred.

Qatar’s national dress is always respected and welcomed.

Mild December weather invites comfort. Think polished, breathable fabrics and a light layer for evening festivities.

A Note for Our Guests

Polo is often called “the sport of kings” — fast, thrilling, and full of energy. With that excitement comes a few things to keep in mind so that everyone enjoys the day safely:

  • Keep an eye out for flying polo balls, they can travel fast, and while our stewards will do their best to guide you, a little extra awareness goes a long way.
  • Remember, polo is a contact sport. Expect plenty of action, close plays, and the occasional dramatic moment — it’s all part of the fun.
  • Beautiful horses will be with us onsite. These magnificent athletes are cared for in their own secure stabling areas. Please admire them from a safe distance and follow any directions from our team.

We kindly ask all guests to stay alert, follow signage, and enjoy the spectacle responsibly. With your cooperation, we can ensure a wonderful (and safe!) Polo AlMarsa experience for everyone.
